Brief
David Low Consulting Ltd was delighted to work with Home Store + More, Ireland’s leading independent homewares retailer, as part of their expansion into the UK market. With 21 stores across Ireland, Home Store + More have now opened their first UK store in Edinburgh, extending to 18,340 sq ft in area, closely followed by their second UK store in East Kilbride, extending to 25,833 sq ft.
The Result
Full M&E design was carried out across both UK sites. Highlights included the design and overseeing of the installation of mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) and inverter-driven heat pump heating and cooling systems throughout the buildings. David Low Consulting Ltd also oversaw the addition of energy efficient LED lighting and recommended both an analogue addressable fire alarm system and IP-based CCTV coverage throughout the buildings.
