Brief
David Low Consulting Ltd was delighted to provide full M&E duties for the fit-out works for KAL ATM, a global company dedicated to Multivendor ATM software. KAL sought to relocate from their previous head office in Edinburgh to occupy 2 fully-refurbished offices within The Beaverbank Business Park and a further workshop unit, which provides a temporary home for various ATM machines from around the world.
The Result
As part of the M&E duties, David Low Consulting Ltd oversaw the installation of mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) and energy efficient LED lighting. In order to augment the existing building structure, inverter-driven pump heating and cooling systems were fitted throughout the building, along with underfloor heating in toilets, additional sprinkler protection systems and UPS-backed power supplies to communication rooms.
